Early Life

Dr. Bekker was introduced to homeopathy by Alain Naude more than thirty years ago. After experiencing first-hand how homeopathy restores health and well-being, he became passionate about mastering this great therapeutic method as an effective way to help people. The field of study of homeopathy is vast. He has studied with Andre Saine. He has also been a serious student of the masters of homeopathy: Dr. S. Hahnemann, Dr. C. Hering, Dr. A. Lippe, Dr. J.T.Kent, Dr. P. Schmidt, Dr. C. Boger and the wonderful legacy of brilliant American homeopathic physicians of the 19th and 20th centuries. This great legacy inspires him to practice pure homeopathy consistent with Hahnemannian principles.

Dr. Bekker has had extensive experience in treating patients with homeopathy in Dallas since 1999. Many acute and chronic conditions improve and are healed under homeopathic treatment. Homeopathic medicine has been a blessing to the lives of many people around the world.

Dr. Bekker was born in the Ukraine and came to the U.S. when he was ten years old. He has an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Philosophy. After teaching English at the community college level he decided to pursue his medical education. He received his medical degree in 1996 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Bekker completed his internship training in Family Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He has had fifteen years of clinical experience working as an Emergency Department physician in rural hospital Emergency Departments in Texas.

Experience

He serves as the first Vice President of the American Institute of Homeopathy (a medical organization), and as Editor of the American Journal of Homeopathic Medicine. He is an adjunct Professor in Family Medicine at the UNTHSC/Osteopathic Medical School in Fort Worth, Texas. He has presented lectures at the National Center for Homeopathy conference, the Texas Society of Homeopathy conference and the Integrative Medicine for the Underserved (IM4US) conference.

He has designed a homeopathy Primary Care Course for the health professional, enjoys teaching classes in First Aid Homeopathy, Introduction to Homeopathy, and Homeopathy for midwives.

Dr. Bekker is a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.
